How To Have Victory In The Last
Days
2Tim 3:1 (KJS)
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
Matt 24:4-8 (KJS)
And Jesus answered and said unto them,
Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am
Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:
see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the
end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and
earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these [are] the beginning of sorrows.
THERE IS NO DOUBT THE BIBLE SPEAKS OF PERILOUS
TIMES IN THE LAST DAYS.
- If these truly are the Last Days, we can expect
the world to face some hard times.
- Hard times for the world does not mean doom and
gloom for the church.
- Jesus said in the above verse, " see
that ye be not troubled".
- The only way you can face perilous times and not
be troubled is to overcome them.
- This doesn't mean we will never face a storm, it
means we will get through the storm.
JESUS IS COMING BACK FOR A GLORIOUS CHURCH.
Ephe 5:27 (KJS)
That he might present it to himself a
glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it
should be holy and without blemish.
- Jesus is not coming back for a church that is
defeated. He is coming back for a mature church, filled with the Glory of God.
- We will be a light that shines into a dark
world.
- When the people who don't know God have lost all
hope because of perilous times, they will turn to God because they will see a
church that is overcoming.
Isai 60:1-3 (KJS)
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and
the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the
earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and
his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and
kings to the brightness of thy rising.
Did you see that? His Glory shall be seen.
- People are looking for an answer, and when they
look at the church, they will see what they are looking for.
- They will see a church that is overcoming the
perilous time in victory.
1Joh 5:1-5 (KJS)
2 By this we know that we love the children of
God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his
commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the
world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he
that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
GOD IS NOT WAITING ON THE CHURCH TO GET READY.
Gala 4:4-5 (KJS)
5 To redeem them that were under the law, that
we might receive the adoption of sons.
- God did not wait for the world to get ready
before He sent Jesus to the earth the first time.
- When it was time, God made everything ready, and
Jesus was born.
- God is not waiting for the church to become that
glorious church, when it is time; God will make us ready.
- That is what He is doing now, He is making us
ready. He is using His fivefold ministry to teach us, and bring us into
perfection. To teach us how to be that Glorious, Overcoming church, that shines
into a dark world, and draws people to Jesus, The Christ.
GOD IS PERFECTING HOLINESS IN HIS CHURCH.
- God is teaching us that without holiness, there
is no glory.
- As a church, we need to humble ourselves before
God like Jesus did. (And being found in
fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the
death of the cross. Phil 2:8)
- We need to pray more.
- We need to seek Gods face, and not just His
hands.
- We need to turn from ways that do not please
God.
- Doing these things will open up the parts of
heaven that may be shut in some life's.
2Chr 7:13-14 (KJS)
14 If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked
ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal
their land.
