| Mat 14:22-33
I. Where Is God?
- Sometimes it seems like God doesn't see what we are going through.
- They were in the storm for sometime before Jesus showed up.
- Jesus didn't come to them until the "Fourth Watch", But that
doesn't mean He didn't see them in the "First Watch".
- Just because God doesn't come at the beginning of our storm, doesn't mean
that He doesn't see what we are going through.
II. Why God Sometimes Waits.
- Disobedient could cause God to wait.
- God could be trying to get you to obey Him by not helping you in your time
of need.
- God could be trying to build your faith.
- The disciples had been in a storm before (Mat 8:23-27) where Jesus had tried
to teach them to live by faith.
III. God Will Meet You Where You Are.
- God wants us to grow to the place where we live by Faith in His Word.
- Jesus told the centurion in Mat 8:5-10 that He had not found so great of
faith in all of Israel as he had.
- The centurion had told Jesus that he understood about authority, and all
Jesus had to do was speak a word, an His word only would be enough to get his
servant healed.
- Even though God is trying to get us to that level, He will meet us at
whatever level we are at while we grow.
- Jesus healed a man in John 5:1-13 that did not even know who He was.
IV. God Has Given Us The Five Fold Ministry To Help Us.
- Eph 4:10-15 says the ministry will teach us about the ways of God.
- It will also minister the gifts of God to us as we Grow.
