The Hidden Word

Dani 12:8-10 (KJS) And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what [shall be] the end of these [things]?

9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

I. God Has Kept Some Revelations Of What He Is Going To Do In The Last Days, Sealed Up, Until A Certain Time.

  • If what God is going to reveal has already been written, then how is He going to keep it sealed, or hidden?
    • By hiding it as a pattern, and not coming right out with what He is doing.
    • If this is the time of the end, then it is time for the hidden word to be revealed.

Amos 3:7 (KJS) Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

II. Can We Know When It Is The End Of Time?

Hebr 10:23-25 (KJS) Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised;)

24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

1The 4:16-5:4 (KJS) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

  • If we are to see the "The day approaching", then we must have the "Hidden Word" revealed.

III. God Has Declared The End From The Beginning.

Isai 46:9-10 (KJS) Remember the former things of old: for I [am] God, and [there is] none else; [I am] God, and [there is] none like me,

10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

  •  The beginning is written in the book of Genesis.
    • We can see that God's work was finished in six days, then He rested for a day.

B. 2Pet 3:8 (KJS) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

  •  God gives us a hidden Word from the beginning, that His work will be finished in six thousand years, then He will rest for a thousand years.

  • From Adam to Abraham was Two thousand years.
  • From Adam to Jesus was Four thousand years.
  • From Adam till now, is Six thousand years, or Six days.

IV. The Fourth Day.

  • When God said " Let there be light" on the First day, and then divided the light from the darkness, Why didn't He make the Sun and the Moon then?
    • God wanted us to see that Jesus, the "Light of the world" would come on the fourth day.
    • God had a legal right to send Jesus anytime after Abraham was willing to offer his son Isaac, but He waited two thousand years before coming to earth.

  • We can see this in (John 11), when Jesus waited two days after the death of Lazarus before going to him.
    • God waited until mankind had been dead in sin for a total of four thousand years before sending Jesus.
    • Jesus waited until Lazarus had been dead four days before coming to him.

V. Jesus Will Come Back Sometime On The Sixth Day.

  • On Gods calendar, we are on the sixth day, or close to it, right now.
  • Are you ready?
