| I. THE ANOINTING
DESTROYS YOKES.
Isai 10:27 (KJS) And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] his
burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy
neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
1. Yokes are not good!
2. Yoke limits you to what you can do.
3. The anointing brings deliverance.
II. THE ANOINTING COMES FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Luke 4:18 (KJS) The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he
hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the
brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to
the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
1. Jesus is anointed.
2.The anointing removes heavy burdens (and light ones!).
* Burdens are not good!
* Burdens will slow you down.
3. The anointing causes the Gospel to be felt.
* Feel conviction.
* Feel healing.
* Feel Gods presents.
4. The anointing brings the manifestations of God.
III. THE ANOINTING IS TANGIBLE.
Acts 19:12 (KJS) So that from his body were brought unto the sick
handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil
spirits went out of them.
1. The anointing can be carried in handkerchiefs.
2. The anointing can be carried in people.
3. The anointing can flow from people.
IV. THE ANOINTING CAUSES THE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO WORK.
1. The Holy Spirit comes upon a person, and anoints them. (Luke 4:18)
* God can use a person to pray for you.
* God can use you to pray for a person.
V. THE ANOINTING IS FOR YOU.
2Tim 1:7 (KJS) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of
power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
1. To bring forth what is needed.
2. For you to carry to someone in need.
* The anointing will flow from you to them.
VI. THE GLORY GOES TO GOD.
1. It is not you; you're just the handkerchief the anointing is carried in.
VII. YOU MUST PREPARE YOURSELF TO RECEIVE TO ANOINTING.
1.Desire Spiritual Gifts.
2. Stay close to God.
3. Be hungry for the thing of God.
4. Have compassion for people.
