Josh.1:1-11
I. God gave them a place to go live.
A. Some of them decided to stay just outside of where God told them to go.
1. Many times we stay just outside of the Blessing God has
for us.
II. Even though this is not where God told them to go, He allowed them
to stay where they desired to stay.
A. He will lead you, but you must chose to follow, or He will allow you to
stay just outside of what is available to you.
III. It cost them the price of not being with their family for six
years.
A. Staying outside of God's best will always cost someone something.

IV. We need to take possession of what God says is ours.
A. Six years after they arrived at the place where God said was theirs, seven
out of the twelve tribes had not possessed what God said they could have.
