Holding Up Each Other
WE ALL HAVE A PURPOSE.
Isai 43:7 (KJS) [Even]
every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have
formed him; yea, I have made him.
- We have been created to glorify God.
- We are never alone.
Isai 43:2 (KJS) When
thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers,
they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not
be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
- God does not forsake people, people
forsake God.
- God wants His glory to be seen on you.
Isai 60:2 (KJS) For,
behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but
the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
JESUS IS COMING FOR A GLORIOUS
CHURCH.
Ephe 4:11-15 (KJS) And
he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some,
pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the
ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the
unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man,
unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: 14 That we
[henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with
every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby
they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into
him in all things, which is the head, [even] Christ:
- A glorious church is people that are
full of Gods glory.
- A glorious church is people that grow
in His knowledge.
- A glorious church is people that walk
worthy of their calling.
- A glorious church is people that hold
each other up.
HOLDING UP EACH OTHER.
Exod 17:8-12 (KJS) Then
came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim. 9 And Moses said unto Joshua,
Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the
top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand. 10 So Joshua did as Moses had
said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the
top of the hill. 11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that
Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12 But Moses'
hands [were] heavy; and they took a stone, and put [it] under him, and he sat
thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the
other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the
sun.
- The church must grow to the place
where they help each other.
- When one grows tired or weak, others
should help.
- When we help each other, God will make
sure we all prevail.
