    Breakthroughs

When all the forces of the enemy come against you, there is still Victory.

    1Ch 14:1-11

    (1) Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and timber of cedars, with masons and carpenters, to build him an house.

    (2) And David perceived that the LORD had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.

    (3) And David took more wives at Jerusalem: and David begat more sons and daughters.

    (4) Now these [are] the names of [his] children which he had in Jerusalem; Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon,

    (5) And Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpalet,

    (6) And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,

    (7) And Elishama, and Beeliada, and Eliphalet.

    (8) And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard [of it], and went out against them.

    (9) And the Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.

    (10) And David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.

    (11) So they came up to Baalperazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baalperazim.

God is a God of Breakthrough's.

vs. 2 If you need a breakthrough in your life - you need to began to perceive it can happen.

David had been anointed as King by Samuel 15 to 20 years earlier and knew someday that he would rule over Israel

    1Sa 16:13

    (13) Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.

From that day on - he had the authority of a king.

But he did not have the manifestation of being a king.

You have authority as a child of God that you need to perceive and operate in, even when you don't see any manifestation of that authority.

There was a change in David's life the day he perceived what God had already confirmed.

      God has already confirmed

1Joh 5:4 (KJS) For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.

Roma 8:37 (KJS) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

He still had to fight

1Chr 14:8 (KJS) And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard [of it], and went out against them.
