| Habakkuk was crying out to God
because of the sin of the people.
Haba 1:4 (TLB) The law is not enforced, and there is no justice
given in the courts, for the wicked far outnumber the righteous, and bribes and
trickery prevail. (Sounds a lot like today!)
God answered Habakkuk and said He was going to send the Chaldeans to destroy
the wicked.
God said write down the vision.
Haba 2:1 (KJS) I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the
tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer
when I am reproved.
2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make [it] plain
upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall
speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come,
it will not tarry.
4 Behold, his soul [which] is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just
shall live by his faith.
I. Write The Vision.
1. The Vision was from God.
- Your vision should be centered around the will of God.
- Many visions are for "My best interest", and
not Gods best interest.
2. By writing the vision, it would not be forgotten.
- We need to write down the things God puts into our
hearts to do.
3. By writing the vision, others will see it.
- We need to share are vision with others.
- So they can pray.
- So they can remind us, less we
forget
- So they can enter into the ones
the involve them.
II. Speak Of The Vision.
1. To get it down inside you.
III. Wait For The Vision.
1. If it's from God, it will come to pass.
- Expect it to happen.
- Don't let Satan talk you out of it.
- Don't let unbelief enter in your heart by what you see.
IV. Trust In God.
Haba 2:4 (TLB) "Note this: Wicked men trust themselves alone
[as these Chaldeans do ], and fail; but the righteous man trusts in me and
lives!
Prov 29:18 (KJS) Where [there is] no vision, the people perish:
but he that keepeth the law, happy [is] he.
