All Things Ready
Ephe 5:8 (KJS) For
ye were sometimes darkness, but now [are ye] light in the Lord:
walk as children of light:
{Read Ephe 5:1-27}
I. JESUS IS COMING
BACK FOR A CHURCH THAT IS READY.
- A church without spot or
wrinkle.
- A church that is reflecting Gods
glory in the world.
- A church that is without sin.
- A church that is living by
faith.
- A church that has knowledge of
God and His Word.
II. EVENTS WILL
HAPPEN SUDDENLY IN THE LAST DAYS.
{Read 1The 5:1-24}
1The 5:2 (KJS) For
yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as
a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and
safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail
upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
- The fulfillment of Gods plan
will catch some people off guard.
- We are not to sleep spiritually,
but we are to watch.
- The coming of the Lord can not
catch a person off guard who is looking for Him.
- Did you look for Him to come
today?
- The generation that will see the
coming of the Lord must grow to the place where they can see
themselves being like God says they shall be.
- The people, who have lost all
hope, need to see the church as a place of hope.
III. GOD MAKES ALL
THINGS READY.
- When it was time for God to send
Jesus the first time, He made all things ready.
Gala 4:4 (KJS) But
when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son,
made of a woman, made under the law,
- As the time draws close for
Jesus to return, God will again make all things ready.
Matt 22:4 (KJS) Again,
he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are
bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and [my]
fatlings [are] killed, and all things [are] ready: come unto the
marriage.
IV. GOD WILL MAKE
ALL THINGS READY FOR HIS HARVEST.
Matt 13:24-30 (KJS) Another
parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is
likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25 But
while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat,
and went his way. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and
brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27 So the
servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst
not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it
tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The
servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather
them up? 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares,
ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together
until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the
reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in
bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
- Jesus sowed good seed in His
field, but Satan sowed seed also.
- Satan came, and still comes at a
time when the church is sleeping.
- All of the seed that Satan has
sowed has been growing along side of what God has sown.
- The falling away from the Godly
principles that this nation was founded upon, are a direct
result of Satan sowing tares while the church (people) slept.
- The tares never appeared until
after the good seed brought forth fruit.
- Both the good seed and the tares
are people. Matt 13:38 (KJS) The field is the world; the good
seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the
children of the wicked [one];
- Tares are people who have been
influenced by what Satan has sown.
- At the time of the harvest, God
Himself will send forth His angles to remove what the enemy has
sown.
- The tares will be bound, but not
burned, before the harvest.
- When the church is able to
witness without the influence of the tares, there will be the
greatest move of God this world has ever seen.
- We need to get ready for all the
things that God is making ready.
